Recently my friend Cindy confided, “I worry that my desire to make a lot of money from my business is just my ego speaking. How can I know that the success I envision is really spirit’s will for me?”

Many people worry that their desires come from ego, not from spirit. The worry itself keeps us apart from what we want.

It’s time to clear up outdated conceptions of will so we can close the gap between wanting and having.

Sure, it’s easy to look around at today’s polarized world and identify people expressing desires that can’t possibly be aligned with their souls.  In this free will universe that’s going to happen.

But when you have a desire to create a business that comes from your heart, your integrity, your passion, and your deepest wish to assist others, you can rest assured that desire was sourced in spirit.

If you stop and ask yourself where desire comes from anyway, you realize that you don’t invent it or force it into your imagination using your everyday mind.

Desire comes to you. It wells up from within the heart.

The heart is the gateway to your soul or spirit, according to many systems of knowledge from the ancient Greeks to contemporary teachers such as Orin (channeled by Sanaya Roman).

Instead of questioning our desires, which only weakens and eventually destroys them, it’s time we embraced our desires as sacred seeds placed within our hearts by the divinity at our source.

Imagine yourself fully claiming the rightness of your desire. Picture yourself in partnership with your soul to grow your inspiration into reality.

Can you feel that deep sigh of relief knowing you’re not alone? You have all the resources of the universe right here with you.

But here’s the catch: you can’t assume that just because you have a sacred desire it will be a snap to manifest. It’s time we gave up the fantasy that it’s supposed to be quick and easy all the time.

Decide to enjoy all the vibrational shifts and steady action required to bring spirit’s seed of desire to fruition. Your will and spirit’s are one, so use the power of will to stay the course.

A friend sent me these words of Swami Vivekananda: “Are great things ever done smoothly? Time, patience and indomitable will must show….All power is within you… Stand up and express the divinity within.”

Till next time, here’s to your successful self employment!

To your happiness and success,

Andrea
