When I’m speaking to a solopreneur or small business owner for the first time, I usually hear about what’s going wrong and why the Law of Attraction isn’t working the way it’s supposed to. These kinds of comments are to be expected — after all, I’m a Law of Attraction marketing coach, and people contact me because things aren’t going the way they’d like.

After I’ve listened and helped someone understand that their situation is actually fairly common in business and can be changed, usually quickly, I will ask a key question: what are you doing to connect with your soul, or inner being, on a daily basis?

Often the response is, “Hmm, I’ve tried meditation but don’t do it often,” or “I would love to read inspirational books more often, but I just don’t have the time.”

Well, guess what. If you don’t make time for spirit, you’re shutting out much of its wise counsel, loving support, and peaceful presence. No wonder you struggle!

Make time each day to hear your soul’s voice.

15 minutes is the minimum, an hour (or more) is best. Read something uplifting, listen to inspiring music, dance, do yoga, meditate, get out in nature (one of my clients connects with his soul while mountain biking), or find any way you like to quiet your busy mind so the quiet voice of spirit can soothe you.

The best antidote to all the fear and stress of our world during this “economic meltdown” is to listen to your Soul Power.

I spent last weekend in Sedona with my high school pal Jodee soaking up the light and amazing energy. Our souls also reach us easily when we take time to play!
