The Lure of the Shiny Object (Attraction Marketing Gone Wrong)

A fishing lure isn’t called “bait” for nothing. Shiny, colorful and attractive, lures also contain a fatal barbed hook.  Attraction marketing is at work here, offering you something you desperately want (endless traffic! qualified leads! more sales!). But it’s attraction marketing gone wrong.

In online marketing in particular, shiny objects float by us constantly:  an endless, glamorous and seductive flotilla of email promotions…

Before you bite on any “just-discovered” technique, tool, system, or program to “revolutionize” your business,  Continue Reading »

10 Law of Attraction Resolutions for Attraction Marketing Entrepreneurs

Happy New Year! New beginnings give us a welcome chance to start over. I’m calling 2011 the Year of Fulfillment – we truly can have what we want.  But fulfillment won’t happen automatically. Which is why I offer you these 10 Law of Attraction resolutions for attraction marketing entrepreneurs.

Resolution #1 – Do more of what you enjoy. Review your business activities and tune in: which ones raise your energy, which ones lower it, which are neutral. Either stop the activities that lower your energy or find another way to get them done. This is not your former deadly job with priorities set by upper management: now you get to decide. Invest most of your work time in activities that satisfy you.

Resolution #2 – Set specific goals for the year. Successful attraction marketers have specific goals for their business and personal lives. Setting and acting on goals doesn’t mean you always attain them  – you might surpass them or attain something different but equally wonderful. Setting goals focuses your mind on attainment: consciously and unconsciously. In 2010 I set a “must have” income goal and a “nice to have” – and was pleasantly surprised when I made it to 70% of “nice to have.”

Resolution #3 – Take back your time. Continue Reading »

Let me give you three shortcuts so you Continue Reading »

Attraction Marketing: The Missing Element

Sure you can do what’s labeled “attraction marketing” without an understanding of the Law of Attraction. You can create a blog and work your social media connections and give away great content to encourage marketing leads.

As a Law of Attraction coach working with people who have tried the action approach, I can tell you: you probably won’t get the results you hope for.

That’s because Continue Reading »

You don’t have to be perfect to attract success

Continued from Successful Self Employment News subscribe

Often when small business entrepreneurs first begin Law of Attraction coaching with me they think the goal is to be perfectly positive all the time.

How fortunate we are that being perfectly positive isn’t necessary – first, because no one could do it. And second because the frustration of trying to be perfect (and failing) would actually make us less attractive to what we desire!

Here’s how we ordinary humans can receive extraordinary results from the Law of Attraction – without attaining perfection. Continue Reading »
