Do you predict a swine flu pandemic? I predict hundreds of Law of Attraction blog posts saying: “Don’t think about the flu and you won’t get it.” A nice theory, but as Bob Proctor pointed out in his Science of Getting Rich class last week, endless programming by the mass media makes it  nearly impossible to ignore the recession — or swine flu. My advice? These 7 steps…

1) Get proactive about immunity. What can you do to boost your immune system? Homeopathic flu remedies, while not specifically aimed at swine flu, stimulate your body’s own immunity. I like Oscillococcinum from Boiron. Remember: homeopathic remedies are safe! If your body doesn’t need the remedy, no harm done. Flu vaccinations? For me personally, no thanks. It’s time we stopped waiting for government to fix our problems — we have the spirit-given right and power to stay healthy. Just because you are exposed to a virus doesn’t mean you’ll get it, if you have a healthy immune system.

2) Eat healthy. Stop screwing around with your diet already. Eat real food. Now is not the stime to starve yourself, which doesn’t work anyway. Quality, organic food is best. Eat enough to give your body what it needs to take care of you. Cut out the junk and especially the sweets and refined carbs — these ruin your health. No “sugar-free” junk either. 3) Drink more water. Seriously. Water flushes toxins — sounds like that might be a good idea, huh? According to my doctor, Steve Nelson of Palm Desert CA, don’t bother with spring water, reverse osmosis or distilled.  Drink nothing in plastic bottles! He says: get yourself a cheap Brita pitcher and filter. Filter your tap water and pour it immediately in to a glass jar. (2 quart canning jars work great.) Drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces each day. Coffee, sodas, juices etc. don’t count. Your body wants water.

4) Exercise. If you’re a gym rat, great. If not, start where you are. A 20-minute walk five times a day is fine. Abraham-Hicks says the real value of exercise is it makes us breathe. Don’t worry about what you do or how much, just do something and breathe.

5) Tune into your soul power! A life lived without that connection is hardly worth living. Plus making that connection is the #1 way to stay out of fear. Start here: listen to the recording of my first Soul Power marketing class

6) Look beyond what’s in the news. These years leading up to 2012 are proving to be challenging times. Remember: you were born for this challenge! But you’re not much of a spiritual warrior if you consent to be programmed by the government and the media as you sit in front of the TV eating Fritos and caramel corn. On my recent telelcass with Tom Murasso about the Global Money Meltdown/Shift to Abundance, I confess I was too cautious to predict that money was just phase 1 and that pandemics might be here soon.  More on the Global Money Meltdown-Shift to Abundance class The next few years are critical to the future of our society and our planet. Are you going to sit on the sidelines?

7) Stay happy.  Why not? War, flu, economic crises — it’s all about planetary and human evolution. No matter how crazy things get, I wouldn’t trade this for living at any other time in the history of earth. We’re so much more than our physical bodies and our egos. Our souls know our power, our goodness, and our essential happiness. It’s time we knew them too. Read Happy for No Reason by Marci Shimoff
