Confessions of Neale Donald Walsch

Posted by Andrea Conway Law of Attraction coach for small business success

Neale Donald Walsch is my hero. A few nights ago on a teleconference, he confessed something so raw and real that I will forever hold him as the highest example of total honesty in a spiritual teacher.

Neale Donald Walsch confessed to moments of self doubt.

Law of Attraction, Money, and Your Last Wish

Posted by Andrea Conway Law of Attraction coach for small business success

During a Law of Attraction workshop not long ago, this was Abraham’s response to a question about money: “We don’t want to talk about money! We’re sick of talking about money!”

The audience laughed. While money is a requirement in our society, we too often get hung up on making it the ultimate goal. We can fixate on it so relentlessly that we actually repel it.

Here’s a Law of Attraction exercise to use when you’re sick of hearing your self-talk about money…

Imagine you are going to die sometime in the next 24 hours. You can’t change that destiny – but the universe has given you one last wish. What would you wish for?

[Seriously. Take a few minutes and answer the question. Really allow yourself imagine this is your very last day in this physical form.]

I would bet you did not wish for more money – unless you wanted to give it to your loved ones.

Your last wish reveals a lot about your truest values. When we’ve run out of time – as we all will sooner or later -  what matters most to us?

If we devoted more of our energy to cultivating the values identified in our last wish, we would live more fulfilled lives now – and we might also discover that the money finds its way to us after all.

This post is dedicated to the memory of Steve Jobs, the billionaire entrepreneur and visionary who wasn’t in it for the money.

“Almost everything–all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure–these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose. You are already naked. There is no reason not to follow your heart.” –Steve Jobs, Stanford U. Commencement Address
