Affirmations work – when we believe them.  If you don’t believe your affirmations or goal statements, it’s time to replace them!

If you affirm “I now make $1,000,000 a  year from my business” – when you aren’t making anywhere near that – you may find yourself feeling frustrated as time goes by and you don’t see the evidence.

Napoleon Hill taught in Think and Grow Rich that we need a specific plan and goals that we must repeat to ourselves daily. But if you’re saying goals out loud while wondering if you’ll ever achieve them, you’re not attracting the results you want. I mean, look around you – are the goal statements working or not? It’s so easy to put the future off indefinitely. “I’ll buy that sailboat when I have the money.” “I’ll  learn to ballroom dance when I lose 10 pounds.”

The obvious problem with this thinking is it perpetuates your current vibration of “I don’t have the money” and “I’m too fat.”

The less obvious issue is it perpetuates your current assumption that” “doing” is the only route to your goals.

So if you can’t take the action to buy the $50,0oo sailboat  today, you live your days feeling dissatisfied and powerless in relation to your dreams.

Law of Attraction teaches that we create our own reality (whether on purpose or not).

So why not deliberately create a reality awash in luck, blessings and good fortune?

Here’s how to start.

Step 1  – CREATE YOUR PERSONAL HISTORY OF AMAZING LUCK. Think back on the times in your life when you received extraordinary good luck. You narrowly missed a serious car accident. You unexpectedly received a large sum of money. You got lost in a foreign city and “accidentally” met the love of your life.

Everyone has these experiences because, in truth, we are all the recipients of magnanimous blessings from spirit.

Step 1 in How To Create Luck is to remember your experiences – and make a list. This list is your Personal History of Amazing and Unlimited Luck.

Sure you can remember times when you were apparently unlucky. Everyone has those too. Because you’re not aiming to attract more unlucky experiences, just let them go. Focus on the lucky times and they will expand in your life.

Nonetheless, Joan Rivers can teach you one of the most important lessons to master as a spiritual entrepreneur, if you watch the documentary Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work.

Actually, there’s a lot Joan Rivers can teach us  about maintaining a career through ups and downs over 40 years. And about loving your work, being committed to your art, and being willing to step out of your comfort zone. Over and over again.
