All too often these days you’re looking for emergency help for a longstanding financial lack that has now become a crisis.

To any of you who feel on shaky financial ground, I’ve got some advice.

As a reminder, I’m no stranger to hardship or financial jams. In 2001, all of my consulting work disappeared within 30 days thanks to the dot.com bust. I lived in tremendous fear, until I realized what I’m about to share with you.

Ready for the secret?

It couldn’t be easier.

Turn to spirit,  knowing that help is right here right now. Ask for help.

If you’re thinking “oh, that could never work,” then you are exactly the person who would benefit from trying it.

Spirit does not make us wait decades for results. It does not withhold our good because we haven’t proven our worth or worked hard enough. It is not waiting for us to show we are evolved and have learned our “lessons.”

But it does expect us to ask for assistance.

Spirit is all-abundant, all-powerful,  all-loving and all-giving. All the help we could ever want is ready and waiting to be called on.

But most of us are trying to do it all ourselves.

Recently I spoke with a freelance corporate videographer, a man whose business was, frankly, nearly dead.

During our session he explained his plan for financial freedom, and it was a sound one. It also would require time, because it called for retraining and re-marketing two brand new businesses.

Time, however, was a luxury he no longer had. His money was nearly gone, and all he was replacing it with was desperation.

Not the energy that attracts the prosperity and ease.

So I asked him about his connection to spirit (or his soul or inner being or angels – the term doesn’t matter).  And he admitted he felt too busy to connect.

Through his neglect of his connection to source energy for many years this man had dug a himself into a huge vibrational hole.  The good news is he can enter a completely different vibrational reality quickly – if he decides to put spirit first.

Reconnect with spirit any way that works for you. Pray. Read. Meditate. Listen to something inspirational.

Without a relationship to our own spiritual essence, we’re adrift. And struggling.

Ask for help and expect an answer. Now.

It’s highly unlikely a  sack of $100 bills will fall out of the sky at your feet. Though it’s possible…

But you will receive an answer – often in the form of a new thought, an idea, or the heartfelt  sense that you are not alone.

When you feel even the tiniest bit more peaceful or hopeful, you’re turning away from the problem and toward a solution. Then Law of Attraction helps bring more of the solution to you.

“When you ask it is given.”  Do your part. Ask for help.

As a law of attraction coach to spiritual business owners, I often have  new clients who no longer trust the universe. Instead, they rely on their own intellect, hard work and willpower.

What’s the result? Often, their lives and businesses are a mess! (As they would be the first to admit.) They’re exhausted. They aren’t enjoying life. And they’re going nowhere.

Why is it that some entrepreneurs find great success using their intellect, willpower and hard work – while others find disappointment?

Not an easy question to answer. But here goes…

What if not everyone is on the planet to explore a spiritual path to success?

If you’re not called to a soul-full way of working,  you may very well find success through hard work and mental focus alone.  Or through luck, inheritance or marriage to a wealthy partner.  Anything goes in this free will universe.

By the way…having coached clients with trust funds and multi-millionaire spouses, I can tell you: there’s nothing to envy.

But let’s get back to your path as a spiritual entrepreneur.

Many of us alive at this time  seek success as an outcome of studying and living spiritual laws. If you’re reading this post, you’re likely to be on the path of success through spiritual understanding.

When you have a commitment, from the soul level, to explore and experience the spiritual underpinnings of success, so that you discover a 100% reliable way to create success under any and all circumstances, then personal intellect, sheer willpower and hard work alone probably WON’T work for you.

In earlier times, hard work often was the only path to success. Think of life in the Middle Ages – no one had it easy.

But we spiritual entrepreneurs today know in our hearts that there must be an easier, more graceful way. We’re here to uncover the way for ourselves – and model it to others.

If it takes us a few tries and disappointments, that’s the entire point of the adventure.

Call it The Way of the Spiritual Pioneer. We’re forging an entirely new model of work. It takes persistence, creativity – and spiritual commitment.

If the path of hard work has turned into a dead end for you, let go of it for the moment.

Re-connect with spirit and your inner guidance.  Accept that you are here to discover a kinder path to success. Forgive yourself for trying so very hard for so very long and having so little to show for it.

Then: get back on your true path.

The #1 task you have as a spiritual entrepreneur, regardless of the business you’re in, is to stay connected to spirit. Everything else flows from that – and without it, nothing much flows at all.

The universe flows abundant success to all of us – whether we’re on the path of back-breaking  hard work or the path of expanded  spiritual understanding. Or any other  path – there’s no one right way to succeed.

But you have to be true to the success path in your heart, in order for it to deliver results.

Know that if you aren’t experiencing success, you’ve temporarily gotten off track. It’s time to put your trust and faith back in spirit – instead of trying to do it all yourself.

Let these words from Marianne Williamson comfort you: “When we stop trying to control events they fall into a natural order,  an order that works… and…We learn to trust that the power that holds galaxies together can handle the circumstance of our relatively little lives.”

Nearly everything I read about attraction marketing leaves out the most essential element: its connection to the universal Law of Attraction.

Sure you can do what’s labeled “attraction marketing” without an understanding of the Law of Attraction. You can create a blog and work your social media connections and give away great content to encourage marketing leads.
