Should you tell the Law of Attraction how you want it?
Got a burning Law of Attraction question? Send it to me! Consultant and coach Tom Rausch (www.yourpurposeguide.com) asks:
Some LoA experts advise not to dictate how our intentions should be delivered to us. They say we should leave the how of manifesting our desire to the universe, that our job is to be specific about what we want — not how we want it to come to us.
Others emphasize the importance of pursuing our desires with purposeful action and advise their clients to pursue smart goals that get specific about how.
Can you clear up this seeming inconsistency?

While there aren’t any wrong questions when it comes to Law of Attraction, the “how” question deserves to be handled with particular care.
Many people who have a fresh, new desire immediately want to know how it will manifest. When they can’t immediately see how it will happen, they tend to doubt their desire.
Doubt places a road block between them and their dream. Progress happens slowly or not at all.
The “how” of a fresh desire is almost never clear at the beginning. If you already knew how, you’d already have done it!
Every great accomplishment begins with a dreamer who believes in a vision — and has no idea how it will manifest.
When you have a new desire, honor its divine origin. Discipline your mind to release its insistence on knowing how something will happen. It’s just too soon.
Asking how at the beginning is like digging up the seeds you planted yesterday to see if there’s a tomato yet.
I’ve heard Abraham-Hicks say that specifics (like knowing how) are fine as long as you feel good about asking them. At the beginning, asking how usually feels bad, because you don’t know how!
What I’ve experienced is this: As you take consistent, faithful action on your desires, your belief grows, and the Law of Attraction naturally brings the hows to you.
In fact, the more avenues you perceive for how success is coming to you, the closer you are to manifesting.
When you experience an abundance of hows, it’s time for you to focus on which to implement first. Then asking how feels exciting.
As always with the Law of Attraction, your feelings are your guide to whether asking how will help or hinder.
What do you think of this response?
To your happiness and success,
Andrea
